On 16 December 2015 APON celebrated our glorious Victory Day with hundreds of underprivileged children at Dhanmondi Lake, Dhaka. APON distributed blankets among the children to mitigate their cold sufferings. APON also organized various events for the students. Later, presents and food were distributed among the winners.
On 19 November 2015, APON celebrated Universal Children Day with working children at APON School, Dhanmondi Lake Center. The program aimed to raise awareness about importance of education, child rights and protection among APON students. More than 40 underprivileged children participated in the event. Lunch packets were distributed after the event.
On 25 September, 2015 ( on day of Eid-ul- Adha) APON Foundation distributed Qurbani meat among 300 children and their families with a view to sharing the joy of Eid among a section of the city’s destitute children. These children are currently studying in various canters of APON School.
On 13 August, 2015 APON Foundation distributed nutritious food among 60 students of its Dhanmondi Lake Center and Ramna Park Center. The object of the event was to meet the children’s daily minimum nutrition intake. The children were delighted to receive the food packets.
